Amazing Hong Kong
Hong Kong is a city on the eastern Pearl River Delta in South China. With over
7.5 million residents of various nationalities in a 1,104-square-kilometre territory, Hong
Kong is a place where east and west meet to create a truly unique culture. There are a lot of
fascinating and superb attractions, from towering skyscrapers and street bazaars to beaches.
Hong Kong attracts chefs and restaurateurs from all over the world. Visitors can try
different kinds of Chinese and global cuisines here. You can even try the world's cheapest
Michelin-star meals at some of the restaurants in every district in Hong Kong. The
unforgettable dining experiences offered in Hong Kong also include the street-food stalls,
serving everything such as stinky tofu, fish balls, pineapple buns and egg tarts.
Hong Kong is also a shopping paradise with malls, shops and markets to everyone's
budget. Those seeking for luxurious products can visit one of the city's luxury malls such as
the IFC Mall or Pacific Place. Those looking for antiques, souvenirs or electronic goods will
be spoilt for choice at the local shops and street markets in Mongkok.
There is never a shortage of things to do in Hong Kong. Not everyone knows that
only one thirds of the territory is filled with crowded buildings and skycrapers. The other
two thirds are made up of bushes, mountains and forests. If you want to see the greener side
of the city, head out onto one of the city's hiking trails to enjoy the nature, fresh air and
gorgeous views of the city and sea.
I think Hong Kong is a great place to visit. I hope you will visit my city one day.
